Z-Band Soft Infant Wristband Solutions
Wristbanding infants is a sensitive issue. While hospitals go to great lengths to properly identify infants, clinicians are also concerned with the comfort and durability of the bands. Zebra kept this in mind when creating a complete line of wristbands for infants.
ComfyCuff Solutions
- A soft, foam cuff that features an adjustable Velcro™ closure
- A SwaddleBand, which creates an extension between the ComfyCuff and a Zebra wristband
- A security label designed to stick to the ComfyCuff material and self-destruct in the event of wristband tampering
Vinyl Infant Wristbands
These latex-free, soft, flexible vinyl wristbands are for use with LaserBand2 Advanced and Z-Band Fusion infant ID tags. The narrow width allows some models of “Abduction Prevention Systems” to be attached. They are available in clip or self-locking closure. The self-locking closure wristband enables size adjustment with a gentle tug as the infant loses mass around the wrists and ankles within the first 24 hours of birth.
Z-Band Ultrasoft Maternity Solution
Featuring one adult and infant wristband, this two-part wristband solution (that can be printed twice) helps ensure that every newborn if properly identified and matched to their mother and birth partner.
LaserBand Laser Wristband Solutions
Easy to Print, Assemble and Scan
Developed by Zebra, LaserBand Original was the first direct print laser wristband in the market that featured a self-laminating seal to protect the wristband from moisture and hand-sanitizers. Over the years, Zebra’s Supplies R&D team has developed new solutions to enhance the nursing and patient experience. Our LaserBand2 solutions feature an enhanced shape and design that makes assembly easier and allows the wristband to lie flat on the wrist to enable quick scanning while providing superior comfort. All LaserBand wristbands are made with lay-flat and anti-wicking materials that are resistant to temperature and humidity changes, reducing feeding issues and jamming.

Self-Laminating Wristband for Barcode Labels
Healthcare providers currently printing barcode labels can quickly implement barcode wristbands by placing a barcode label into Zebra’s self-laminating OmniBand wristband. They accept labels up to 3.25 in. x 1 in./82.55 mm x 25.4 mm in size and are available in both adult and pediatric versions. Features include:
